"Ben Markham, engineer and former ExxonMobil vice president " developed this idea for areas off the grid.   Thank you Ben:  You deserve an award.   This is the first positive news I have heard about Exxon in 24 years.    This is very, very exciting that leaders in our nation's energy industry are thinking creatively about harnessing all the wild and free energy swirling around us every minute of every day.   It is very, very amazing.   Ten years ago, I fell into a deep, deep depression because I thought we were all going to die fighting over less and less oil of less and less quality for more and more costs....a lose, lose, lose situation.   Then I discovered that solar energy could power all energy needs of earth x 11,000.....and that wind and solar work together as a great team in an inverse relationship, one working while the other doesnt and visa versa.....and we can fill in the gaps with other kinds of fuel ...!  Wow!  You're probably amazed by that also.   I would think it would be very, very, very possible to convert almost all our energy infrastructure of carbon-based fuels of oil, gas, coal to renewable fuels because the energy infrastructure for transmission is already in place.   Is that correct?  ( I include nuclear in the "dirty energy" category because of the dirty risks.)

Ben, thank you again, so much for your vision and determination to protect your own children's future from our selves.   I live in Iowa City, Iowa and am working very hard to make renewable energy "a reality in Iowa"...

You see, I think the story of Adam and Eve is a parable about the consequences of destroying the ability of nature to produce the critical flows that humans need to survive day to day and minute to minute.  But nature's genius produces all critical flows and cleans up humans' wastes without pay.   If we nurture nature, nature will nurture us to lift all 100% up to positive outcomes now and generations from now.   Thanks so much for inspiring me! hb 2013
